National Geographic: Lion
- Lion prides can be as small as 3 Lions up to 40!
- Lions raise there cubs together.
- Normally most of the female lions/lionesses do most of the hunting.
- A lot of the lionesses are normally related, they are sisters and grandmothers, mothers the hole thing!
- Many of the female lions give birth at about the same time.
- There are usually only two male adult lions in a pride!
- While the female lions usually stay in the pride for life the males will leave after 2 to 4 years.
- When a new male takes over the pride it is pretty normal for them to kill all the cubs.
- A male lions roar will take place at sunset and will go as far as 8 kilometers.
- Lions are often found all over the content of Africa!
